ANTHONY LUCIA
PRCA Rodeo Announcer
Professional Rodeo Announcer Anthony Lucia comes to us from Weatherford, Texas. Lucia has been a part of the Three Hills Rodeo family over the years, both as a highly sought after announcer, and as a specialty act, skillfully entertaining the crowds with his trick roping. Lucia’s abilities don’t stop there; he is also a competitive team roper. Where Lucia gets his talent from is no secret. His father, well known rodeo performer Tommy Lucia, who owned and trained Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey, raised Lucia in the rodeo world. Traveling the country with his father since he was four years old, Lucia began joining him in rodeo performances at age 8, and he hasn’t stopped since. With a slew of achievements, including a roping appearance on ‘America’s Got Talent’, having been named the 2010 Great Lakes Circuit Finals Rodeo Specialty Act and the 2010-2013 National Finals Trick Roper, Lucia also continues to announce rodeos all over the US and hosts the show Live with Lucia in Las Vegas, during the National Finals Rodeo.
SCOTT GROVER
PRCA Rodeo Announcer
A former agriculture education instructor, Grover stepped out of the classroom and into a full-time career as an announcer. Now he strives to be the best in the business. A good announcer is a critical part of a successful event, and a good announcer is there for the producer, the committee and the fans, not for themselves. Grover has worked rodeos throughout the country for a variety of producers and committees. He started his announcing career at 19, working amateur and junior rodeos. Since then, he has worked his way up the ranks to the professional associations. Besides his great work at Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association events all across this land, Grover has made a name for himself with the Professional Bull Riders, where he has announced the PBR World Finals and the ABBI World Finals.
